HISTORIC HAMPTON HOUSE
My contribution to the Historic Hampton House is near and dear to my heart! It is the largest project of my career, so far. I had the privilege of being the lead on Design and Styling for the restoration of the house, which was built in 1908. Seeing such a large project from purchase to demolition to design to styling was an amazing experience. The owners and I worked together to bring our vision of "modern vintage" to the house, which is now a beautiful wedding venue. Balancing elements that were original or "true" to the age and style of the house, while bringing in modern comforts, is a testament to the importance and value of aesthetics achieved with good design and styling.
